Yes. We can arrange same-gender caregivers based on your preferences and will always be taken into consideration when scheduling.Â
Do I need a high level of care to access personal care services?
Not at all. Personal care can be tailored to your needs, whether you require occasional assistance or more regular daily support.
Can I have the same caregiver each visit?
Wherever possible, we provide consistent caregivers so you can build trust and feel comfortable with familiar faces.

Need a New Care Provider? Here’s How to Switch
If your current care no longer feels right, changing providers can help you access the support, reliability, and service you deserve.Â
1. Find a New Provider
Start by researching and choosing a provider that better suits your needs, preferences, and level of support with availability to take you on.
2. Notify Your Current Provider
Let your existing provider know you intend to change and review any required notice periods or exit steps (usually 2 weeks).
3. Transfer Your Care
Contact My Aged Care to request your referral code for changing providers, then give this code to your new provider when setting up your new agreement.
